Summer Wine School is the place to feed your curiosity and discover what you are truly capable of. This August, you can earn your sommelier pin, become a certified wine instructor, or hang out with some smart, cool wine professionals.

Summer Wine School 2025

It all kicks off on August 3rd with Uncorked: Members’ Night. Members and their guests gather for an evening of great bottles, shared plates, and lively conversation. BYO your finest—or most surprising—bottle and settle in for a night where the only rule is to enjoy.

Then on August 2nd, discover the bright side of luxury with New Luxury: White Wines. This public tasting class redefines what “luxury wine” means, featuring age-worthy, powerful, and complex whites from around the world. Forget the notion that only reds rule the cellar.

From August 4th to 9th, the Accelerated Core Sommelier Program returns. Designed for those ready to fast-track their wine education, this intensive evening course covers tasting techniques, theory, and service standards in just one week.

And for the first time ever, from August 11th to 17th, students can earn their Advanced Italian Wine Specialist certification, accredited by the National Wine School. Dive deep into Italy’s greatest regions, grapes, and traditions in this intensive program, emerging with an advanced credential that sets you apart in the wine trade.

Throughout the summer, members can also take advantage of After Wine School: Open Office Hours with founder Keith Wallace. These free sessions give insider advice to members looking to enter or grow within the wine industry.
