About Our Mixology Classes
Our mixology classes are designed to introduce you to the world of classic spirits and contemporary craft cocktails. Perfect for home bartenders, these classes focus on crafting drinks rather than professional bartending techniques.
Since their debut in 2009, these classes have been a cornerstone for cocktail enthusiasts. Our expert instructors—renowned for their talent and creativity—have even inspired some of Philly’s most innovative cocktails. Recipes from these sessions remain exclusive to attendees, adding a touch of insider flair.
The Wine School of Philadelphia provides a complete spirits education, blending hands-on cocktail crafting with the history and philosophy behind each drink.
Bartending Classes
We love sharing the art of creating perfect cocktails. While we’ve designed programs for local bartending schools in the past, we now focus on teaching cocktail enthusiasts. These classes are tailored for mixing exceptional drinks at home, making them perfect for casual cocktail lovers.
Cocktail Classes
Most of our spirits classes include a cocktail component. For instance, a class on gin typically features three parts: a gin tasting, an exploration of how gin is made, and an interactive cocktail session. Expect a balance of hands-on fun and in-depth education.
Whiskey Tasting Classes
If you’ve ever seen Keith on a Zoom call, you’ve probably noticed the extensive whiskey collection in his office. For him, whiskey is a passion—a delightful escape from winemaking and sommelier instruction. His love for crafting, tasting, and teaching about whiskey shines in every class.
