(June 18, 2014) – Exploding wine bottles in Pennsylvania are prompting a recall this morning.
The bottles of 2013 Indigenous Selections Prosecco Brut are spontaneously exploding before wine drinkers can even pop the cork.
The wine school of Philadelphia director, Keith Wallace says he’s only read about this happening in history books.
Right now the reports of exploding bottles are only in Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania liquor control board took the Italian sparkling wine off the shelves in 180 stores across the state.
