From the Piedmonte region of Italy.
The guy who owns this vineyard is ginger, where the name “Camp du Rouss” comes from. In Piedmontese, “camp” means vineyard, and “du rouss” means red hair.
This bottle is destined for the carnivore’s dinner table. It has the structure and acidity to handle most meat-based dishes. And then there is the smoke. This is pure meat and bacon and charcoal and dark delicious fruit. I’ll be drinking this with BBQ, short ribs, and rotisserie chicken.
