I could spend all day sniffing a glass of this stuff–the nose is a beautiful combination of wild strawberries and rose petals, yet it’s in no way cloyingly perfume-y. The palate, however, shows flavors that are much deeper than the aromas suggest: Mushrooms, damp earth, and barnyard. However, all of it comes together in the seamless finish, which somehow ties all these disparate aspects of the wine together into a wildly exciting whole. What a pretty wine.
