Wine Instructor Certification (Sold Out)
Mon, August 14, 2023 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm
August 14th to 19th, from 7:30-9:30 pm
The essential certification for anyone who needs to teach or talk about wine to an audience. This certification from the National Wine School is mission-critical for anyone in wine education. Graduates from this program are running wine schools, two are now WSoP employees, and more are running their own wine event companies.
To be taken seriously in wine education, you must complete wine educator training and earn your certification. If your dream is to open a wine school or a wine event company, this is an obvious necessity. Why would anyone in their right mind attend a wine seminar if the person in front wasn’t qualified to teach the subject matter?
Teacher training includes the skills necessary to succeed. This includes classroom management, public speaking, and curriculum development.
Being a certificated sommelier-instructor goes far beyond just wine schools and wine event companies. Many jobs in the wine trade require the ability to teach and communicate. Winemakers, sommeliers, distributors, and wine importers all have to communicate and educate both the public and other professionals. The ability to communicate effectively is the single most factor in success in the wine trade.
Learn from the best. This accelerated program is taught by two of America’s top wine educators: Keith Wallace and Alana Zerbe, Director of Education at the Wine School of Philadelphia.
