Description
Earn a complete wine education in a single semester. The Online Core Wine Course combines the L1, L2, and L3 wine programs into a unified wine education experience. Plus, taking the programs online will save you a sizable amount of tuition.
Level One (L1) covers the wine basics: from reading wine labels, understanding the major grape varietals, proper wine-tasting techniques, the basics of wine pairing, and much more.
In the Level Two (L2) portion of the program, students will learn the techniques and master the knowledge needed to become extraordinary wine tasters. Graduates can identify major wine varietals in a blind tasting: a significant feat for any wine professional.
In Level Three (L3), students learn about the intricacies of the ever-expanding world of wine. The program includes the chance to master the wine styles, climates, and varietals of all the major wine-producing countries.
Additional Costs
There are additional costs for this online wine program. You are required to supply wine and have a sommelier L2 tasting kit. Your wine costs can be kept at a negligible level if the student invests in a wine preservation device like the Coravin. Otherwise, the wine cost can exceed $500.
