This is a side project for Michael Twelftree, Australia’s Two Hands Winery owner, and a fantastic find in the PLCB system.
The wine is sourced from two old vineyards in Barossa: Gomersal and Ebenezer, and its lineage shows. It’s a big bruiser of a wine, just like one would expect from Barossa, and as concentrated in its flavors as one would expect from any luxury-brand wine. That alone should earn it well-deserved fans.
It is also quite beautiful and complex, with layers of spice, game, ocean breeze, and flowers, turning this bruiser into a drunken poet.
