Beautiful ruby color with hints of blue and purple at the edges. Aromas of raisins, toffee, herbs, and earth leads to a gorgeous palate of raisins, red berries, and something almost tea-like on the finish. This is a beautiful, easy-drinking vintage Port, lighter in the body than I expected, silky on the tongue, and absolutely delicious. It could use a bit more time in the bottle, but with a Port this good, who wants to wait that long?
