The Wine School of Philadelphia and the Philly Beer School are located at 109 S. 22nd Street, Philadelphia, PA. The map below includes several restaurants, bars, and parking opportunities in our Rittenhouse neighborhood.
We are a quick walk from 30th Street Station, which provides easy access to SEPTA and AMTRAK trains. We are also just one block away from the SEPTA Trolley Line and a fifteen-minute walk from the SEPTA Walnut-Locust station. We are a ten-minute walk from the PATCO high-speed line at 15th & Locust Streets for commuting from New Jersey.
There are plenty of parking lots in the neighborhood, as well as metered on-street parking. For free on-street parking, look to 23rd and 25th Streets, between Locust and Pine.
Dear Sirs / Madams,
We are a cooperage with more than 100 years of experience. The art of cooperage is an inheritance that we keep alive from generation to generation, we bet on technological innovations and new methods of work preserving the tradition of our predecessors.
Our headquarters, as well as our manufacturing facilities and wood’s drying and storing park are located in Palaçoulo, Miranda do Douro, Portugal.
For us the quality of our barrels is a very important factor, so when choosing the wood we ask only certified geographical origin´s oak from suppliers.
The wood is dried for 36 months in a low-pollution environment which enhances the sweet aromatic complexity of the wood.
We manufacture wooden barrels and hulls with varied sizes and with various specifications according to our clients’ preferences and tastes. For us each customer is unique.
In addition to the barrels we manufacture with new wood (new barrels) we sell barrels vinified in Port wine, Madeira Wine and Moscatel Wine.
We are interested in making a solid partnership with you, we look forward to hear from you.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
Hello,
My name is Stephanie and I am a casting producer at Good People Casting in LA. We specialize in finding non-actors for commercial projects. You can see some of our work here: http://www.goodpeoplecasting.com.
I am currently working on a Virginia state tourism commercial and looking to cast a sommelier. You can live anywhere in the US, preferably NOT Virginia though. We are looking for a professional that works in the hospitality industry (ideally with food and wine) that would like to meet a colleague (in this case, a grape farmer). Ideally, you would meet someone with whom you have a connection, but come from different walks of life.
The commercial will be filmed like a documentary. To get an idea of what this will look like, you can look at the previous commercials here: https://www.youtube.com/user/VisitVirginia/featured
The filming dates are TBD but will be two days between July 29th – August 12th. It will pay $1,000 per person. It will film in Virginia; travel and accommodations will be provided as needed.
Please let me know if you would be interested in being considered. I would love to discuss and answer your questions. I’d just need to be in touch by Wednesday, July 25th, but the sooner the better.
Thank you!
Stephanie Berman
