This is how wine is done today. A small family-run winery with a web of brands and subsidiaries. This bottling is produced by Turn Key Wines, which is itself owned by Thornhill Companies. These companies are owned by the Miller family, which also owns Bien Nacido Estate. Why all the red tape? My guess is liability and taxes.
That said, this is a super fun wine. Ginger, white peach, and cantaloupe are the primary flavors. It big and round without being creamy. There is a white flower essence that keeps this interesting. It’s very ripe and works great with spicy foods. This Roussanne, Muscat Canelli, and Riesling, most of which were sourced from Paso Robles.
