Editing is always the hardest part, whether it’s shaping a manuscript or curating a wine list. Each year, more than 20,000 fine wines are released. Of these, around 3,000 meet our standards for use in any of our classes. From that pool, about 500 stand out enough to be selected for our Advanced Wine Course or luxury tasting experiences like this one.
And now comes the hardest edit of all—selecting just seven that fully embody what this class is about. We don’t run this class every year because it’s a challenge to coordinate, but when we do, the result is always well worth the effort.
