From the National Wine School:
To be taken seriously in the world of wine education, you must complete wine educator training and earn your certification. If you dream is to open a wine school or a wine event company, this is an obvious necessity. Why would anyone in their right mind attend a wine seminar if the person in front wasn’t qualified to teach the subject matter?
Being a certificated sommelier-instructor goes far beyond just wine schools and wine event companies. Many jobs in the wine trade require the ability to teach and communicate. Winemakers, sommeliers, distributors, and wine importers all have to communicate and educate, both to the public and to other professionals. The ability to communicate effectively is the single-most factor in success in the wine trade.
Learn from the best. This four-day accelerated program is taught by the two of America’s top wine educators: Keith Wallace, MS and Alana Zerbe, Director of Education at the Wine School of Philadelphia.
