American Wine Specialist™

The Wine School of Philadelphia invites wine enthusiasts to embark on an immersive journey through America’s most prestigious and unique wine regions with its “American Wine Specialist™” program. Starting Dec. 23, 2023, and culminating on Feb. 10, 2024, this in-person course promises to be a sensory adventure every Saturday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST.

Guided by a former Napa Valley Winemaker, participants will:

• Revel in the opulence of Napa and Sonoma Valleys, diving deep into the art of winemaking that produces world-class Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
• Explore the cool-climate elegance of the Pacific Northwest, focusing on the exceptional Pinot Noirs of the Willamette and Columbia Valleys.
• Discover the East Coast’s hidden gems, tasting the distinctive Viognier of Virginia and the acclaimed Rieslings of New York’s Finger Lakes.
• Journey through Central Coast California, experiencing the bold red blends of Paso Robles and the refined Pinot Noirs of Santa Barbara.
• Venture into the intriguing Southwestern wines of Texas and Arizona, uncovering the stories behind their rising prominence in the American wine landscape.
