The Level One Wine Course is an online wine program and part of the National Wine School curriculum. From grape to bottle to table, this course introduces the essential structures that underpin modern wine knowledge.
You will explore foundational questions such as:
- What are the nine essential grape varieties?
- How do you accurately read a French wine label?
- What is the correct method for tasting and evaluating wine?
- Which commonly repeated wine myths are simply wrong?
- Can a light red wine be successfully paired with fish?
The Level One Wine Certification Program is a fully asynchronous, self-paced online course. Upon completion, you will take an online exam to earn Level One certification from the National Wine School. Enrollment is automatic; you should receive access credentials via email within five minutes of purchase.
