Spring enrollment is now open at the Philly Wine School with the release of its full Spring 2026 education calendar. The season includes a new cohort of the school’s Core Sommelier Course alongside a slate of public-facing tasting classes focused on regions, styles, and emerging wine trends.

The Core Sommelier Course begins April 12, 2026, and is designed as a structured, tasting-driven program for career changers, working professionals, and serious enthusiasts seeking a rigorous foundation in wine. Enrollment this semester includes optional complimentary access to Level One from the National Wine School, a short preparatory program used by many students prior to entering the Core curriculum.

In addition to the Core program, the Spring calendar features standalone tasting classes open to the public, including Wine 101, Spain vs. Portugal, Italian Wine, Wines of Tomorrow, Luxury Bordeaux, and a seminar titled Sommelier Secrets, which explores professional tasting methodology and evaluation.

Founded in 2001, the Wine School of Philadelphia is one of the country’s longest-running independent wine education institutions and operates both as a public-facing school and as the home of the National Wine School’s certification programs.

Editors interested in covering Spring wine education trends, professional credentialing outside traditional European models, or consumer-facing wine education are welcome to reach out for additional details, interviews, or class access.
