Hi ,
We’re excited to share something new at the Wine School — and it’s directly connected to your academic journey.
The Quick Pours Series is now live: short, 45-minute classes that focus on real-world wine skills. These classes are taught by our up-and-coming instructors — students who are currently enrolled in the Teacher Training Track, the certification process that leads to becoming a Certified Sommelier Instructor (CSI) through the National Wine School.
This program is how we develop and credential new educators. Over the next year, we’ll be inviting students in our Master-level programs who have completed the teacher training (or who sign up for this summer’s in-class session) to join the certification process — and to begin teaching Quick Pours themselves.
Our first three Quick Pours are already scheduled, featuring our first candidate instructor, Surabhi, leading the sessions. We’d love for our academic students to attend, show support, and see this next phase of the Wine School in action.
Tickets are $5 for members and $45 for the public, and seats are limited.
This is your chance to experience what’s next in wine education — and, if you’re ready, to start moving from student to instructor.
