Wine School/Sommelier Training/ Financial Aid

I am looking at your school and thinking about working in the wine industry. I am just curious and have a couple of questions if you don’t mind me asking.

1) Do you offer training classes for people who want to become sommeliers

2) If you do, do you train them to prepare to become Master Sommeliers

3) You are listed as a trade school, is financial aid available for people who want to take long term courses?

4) With a Level 1 and 2 certification, can you already work as a sommelier?

5) Do you have job placement assistance or help sommeliers land internship positions?

Athena,

Lots of questions. Let’s start with one, and work our way down the list, if you have further questions.

We price our programs at a very attractive rate, so that anyone can afford to attend wine school. We also offer payment plans as well. Our objective is to have a diverse and committed student base, which is why a single semester program can cost less than $1K, inclusive of reading and certification. Despite the low cost, we have the top instructors and the best facilities of any wine school on the East Coast. While that balance is hard to achieve, I personally think it is worthwhile.

Cheers,

Keith
