Hi there,

Have questions about the upcoming wine foundation course for 8 weeks:

1) Are there additional costs such as purchasing corse materials?

2) What is the difference between the certification option and general class option?

Thank you,

Michael,

Good questions. There are no additional costs to our programs, except the upgrade to pro certification (if you want). The Pro upgrade give you access to certification, plus reading material and online exam prep.

If you just want to take the class and don’t care about reading material (which aren’t necessary to take the class) or need the certifications, then I suggest taking the less expensive option. You will still be able to take the blind tasting exam at the end of the program.

Sorry for the delay in responding. There is official recognition only if you opt for the professional upgrade. That said, we don’t balkanize our student base. As for number 2, the program is primarily focused on experiential learning.

Thank you,

1) For the less expensive option, is some sort of diploma recognition given at the end of the course?

2) Does this course involve experiential learning throughout.. or more so a combination of book knowledge and experiential?
