For Our Academic Wine Course Students
Parking is available on the streets in our Rittenhouse neighborhood, and also in parking garages and surface lots nearby.
We open our doors 15 minutes before class begins. You will enter the School through a secure doorway. Please do not enter any private areas within the building.
We recommend bringing a notebook, writing utensil, and folder for handouts.
Food is not allowed in the classrooms unless authorized by the instructor.
Please tell your instructor if you would like to use a different email than the one provided at the time of purchase. This often occurs if an employer enrolled you in the course, or you received it as a gift. If you signed up as a couple, please provide us an email for both people. Check with the instructor if you have any questions about which email we have on file.
If you must miss a class, you are always welcome to make up that lesson in a future semester. Your instructor will get you up to speed, and insure that you will be prepared to successfully complete the course.
If you have signed up for the professional track (instead of the enthusiast level), you will receive information on study guides and the final exams on the first day of class.
If you would like to upgrade to professional certification, please let your instructor know during the first two weeks of the semester.
All of our student support is on the Wine School’s website here: http://www.vinology.com/somm/
Please do not email your instructors directly with any questions. The Student Forum allows students to ask questions on any topic related to the course. The question and answers are available for everyone to view. We have found this is the most effective and efficient way to communicate during the semester.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. We look forward to meeting everyone and getting started!
