I tried to sign up for the Saturday, 10/8 at 5 P.M. class by using my gift card that my daughter-in-law purchased for me. The original class was cancelled and she was told the following….Philip with the Wine School just sent me the following code for you to use for your gift card:

Len,

I took a look, and there was a limit on the gift certificate. It was associated with your business email address. You can use it with any email address now.

Please keep in mind that you did post the gift code in the public forum, so anyone can now use it. I removed it, but I strongly recommend using it asap.

  • Keith,

Thank you for removing the gift code from the public forum. I went through the process today and tried to sign up for the class on Dec 3, I entered the code and hit Apply Coupon and it deducted $40 from my total. Then when I continued to check out it said that the coupon did not belong to me and it was removed from my order.

    Please advise.

  • It was still tied to your L****@*****partners.com email address. It will work now.

Hi Len,

I remember speaking about this issue to your daughter-in-law.

The code you have is valid for $40 and should be entered in the field that asks for a gift certificate during checkout. Once you hit apply, the amount of the code will be deducted automatically.

I’m not sure why you would have received that message; can you try signing up again the way I described above, and let me know how it goes? There is no “ownership” attached to the gift code so it should work for anyone.

Thanks!
