The setup of a mixology class

I’m interested in signing my boyfriend up for one of your mixology classes (potentially the whiskey or classic cocktails one), but I was interested to know more about the setup of a class. I’d really like to get him a class where he’s actually actively learning how to make cocktails (so a class that’s really hands-on rather than just watching an instructor). Are your classes generally like this, or is a particular class more hands-on than the others? Maybe you can walk me through a typical mixology class structure? Thanks!

Shaun,

Depends on the class, but our spirits classes will focus only partly on cocktails. Usually, the instructor goes through making one or two cocktails hands-on with the class for the first 1/3 of the class. the last 2/3 is typically focused on spirits.
