Hi Keith and team-
I am planning a trip out to Sonoma in March. I wanted to get some insight on your favorite vineyards and wine makers out there so I can make the best out of my trip. I want to have some great wine and take a cool tour or two!

Thanks,
Katie

Thank you so much! I had ravenswood on my list already. I’ll add the rest!

Katie,

Where to start?
Bedrock Wine Co is incredible. They are hosting tastings at the Joseph Hooker House in Sonoma (the city).

Carlisle is in Windsor, and produce some INSANE zins.

Another must is Ravenswood (Gary Sitton (the winemaker) was just at the school two weeks ago to hang with me and some of my winemaking students).

Aubert makes some profound wines, but I don’t know if they do tastings (the others do, but you’d have to make an appointment. Also it’s a good idea to tell them you are my student).

Limerick Lane are great people and are located in RRV. Ferrari-Carano is worth seeing (really worth seeing) in Dry Creek.

Finally, you really should check out Paul Hobbs in Sebastopol, too.
