Hi Keith,

Can’t seem to submit my review from last week’s class. Keep getting an error saying some thing like “you’ve visited this page too many times. Please try again in an hour”. Hoping ok to submit this way instead (below)…

Poderi Luigi Einardi, Dogliani DOCG 2015

This Dolcetto has a lovely blend of savory and fruit aromas of fresh leafy tomato, green strawberry, and ripe black cherry. Hints of enticing licorice and a subtle salinity make this an enchanting wine. It is well balanced with medium plus body and medium plus acidity, and high tannins that are quite broad and provide a pleasant structure for the wine, especially one so young. It is drinking nicely now and will probably improve with another 2-3 years or more in bottle. Serve this with a red-wine-braised amb shoulder with white beans, rosemary and sage, all finished with a squeeze of lemon and a light dusting of grated Romano.
