Hi there- we received an email with a “reschedule credit for a future class”. Did the Beer of America class get canceled for this Friday? It is still up on your site. Please elaborate on the email we received.

Thanks!

Yes, the class was cancelled. I’ve verified that all three emails were sent to you. Please check your spam/bulk mail if you are missing them.

Here is the first email we sent to you, on Wednesday morning:

Hi,

I am contacting you because there was a typo on our website regarding the start time. The start time is 7:30 pm, not 5:30 pm.

The doors will open at 7:15 pm and class will last two hours.

My apologies for the confusion.

Cheers

Then on Wednesday evening, we sent this to you:

My apologies for another email, but we have heard back from some folks who tell us that the 7:30 pm start time is problematic for them.

We hold ourselves accountable for the typo, and want to make sure everyone receives the experience they expected when signing up.

Therefore, we will reschedule this class and send everyone a reschedule code in the FULL AMOUNT of your purchase, PLUS 25%. For example, if you paid $95 for two seats, you will now receive a reschedule code in the amount of $118.75.

The code will never expire and can be used for any class listed on our website.

Kindly respond to this email so I know you’ve received this important message. (Please ignore the autoreply.)

Thank you and our sincerest apologies once again.

Hi Melissa,

The class on Friday cannot happen due to complaints by some that the class would not last four hours. Because our beer classes (not programs) are never more than two hours, we cannot accommodate that demand.

Our only option is to cancel the class and let people select a new class. The added 25% credit is for the inconvenience this may cause.

Hello, I did not receive that second email. When I go to re-sign up for the class tomorrow, it now says sold out. I should be on that roster… I booked this well in advance for my husband’s birthday and have a babysitter scheduled.

The email I received on WEDNESDAY for our class on FRIDAY:

“I have issued you a reschedule code for $100 to a future Craft Beer class, or a class of your choosing at the same price. To use the reschedule code:
1. Select a class and start the checkout process.
2. Select the ticket insurance for each of your tickets (optional).
3. Enter the reschedule code in the gift certificate field.
4. In the email field, use your garfieldrefining.com email address to verify your identity.
I hope we’re able to see you at a class soon! If you have any questions, please contact us at http://www.vinology.com/ask Cheers!
To redeem your gift use the following coupon code during checkout:”

Please tell me how this issue can be solved. Thank you!
