password reset

I am having an issue receiving my new password.

The log in info tells me I already exists but when I click “forgot password” nothing is sent to me. Also, when entering the info I receive an error message that says I need to approve my log in info.. The problem is nothing is being sent to me. I have checked my spam,trash, inbox over and over again and was not able to recover this info.
Could I create a new account? Could you manually email me with my new password.
Any help with this issue would be appreciated..

Julie,

I pulled up your account on http://www.winecertifications.com. The issue was that you never created an account. You must have realized that, since at 10:12AM this morning you created one.

Resetting the password wasn’t working because you didn’t have an account. I went ahead and made sure you had access to both the Foundation and Intermediate programs, which you now do.

IF you have any other issues with the CORE programs, please respond in this forum.

  • HI Keith!I did create an account a while back.. The site would not let me access it or to create a new account because my info was already on file. When I tried to log in I received a message telling me my email address was not confirmed. When I clicked for got password nothing was ever sent to me. That happened only on www.winecertifications.com not for vinology.com..I am just glad everything was able to be taken care of.. Thank you for the help and sorry for the headache.
  • You created an account on vinology.com a while back. You never created an account on winecertifications.com until this morning.

Your elaborate answers and attempts at problem solving are well meaning, but are not helping. In fact, you are making things more difficult for yourself, and nearly impossible for me to help you.

Only one or two word responses are needed.

To repeat:

  1. Which system are you trying to setup your Core account? this site (vinology.com) or the NWS site (winecertifications.com). If you took classes before March 4th, it is the later site.

  2. Has anyone at the Wine School done a password reset for you in the past?.

  3. Have you gotten any emails from that site in question?

  4. Did you ever create an account on that site?

FYI: You problems have nothing to do with a password reset, that much I am sure of.

  • Yes I am trying to set up my Core account for winecertifications.com Yes my password has been reset several times. I receive emails from the site only when I fill out this form. not for password reset Yes I created an account on wine certifications.com
  • Yes, this is a different site than winecertifications, so getting an email from there has no bearing on getting one from here. The same is true with accounts. It sounds like you misspelled your email when you created your account on winecertifications. That would be the most likely scenario. I will check when I get back into the office.

I am now able to access my account on both sites. I stumbled across a link under ” my account option” which allowed me to change my password for virology.com
I then went to http://www.winecertifications.com ( so I could sign on to my courses) and did not have to log in to that site. Now my only issue is I am not enrolled in the core class program.

Will my passwords be the same for both sites?

  • To submit my request for a new password I followed your instructions to go to vinology.com after clicking your link I was able able to reset my password by entering my full name and email address. An email confirmation was not sent to me with this info. I have requested several password resets none of which arrived to my in box ( or where in my spam folder). the requests were submitted on both sites, as well as through customer support. I receive the emails that come from the form confirmation as well as emails coming from you, Phil and Alana direct. I created and account weeks ago and have never been able to access my account.
