The Wine School is ideally situated close to public transportation and convenient parking lots in the Rittenhouse area of Center City. Here is a map:

When you sign up for a class, we recommend purchasing the ticket insurance that allows rescheduling for any reason. Without the ticket insurance, your seat cannot be rescheduled if you have to miss the class (although you can transfer to someone else to attend). If there is a weather emergency and we cancel classes, everyone is given the option to reschedule whether they had ticket insurance or not.

Wine certification programs vary greatly by organization. Our program is wholly unique and designed from a winemaker’s point of view. We focus on experiential learning as opposed to strict memorization. For that reason, it’s difficult to make generalizations for a point of comparison.

There is a one-hour dinner break between the courses on Sundays. You will receive certification for each course you’ve completed successfully. Results depend on how quickly you complete the written examination that is done at home via our website.
