Future classes

I’m interested in becoming a sommelier, and beginning a formal education to that goal. I’m retired, and travel routinely, so trying to determine when courses are scheduled, so I can make the necessary modifications, and can’t find anything past the Jan-Mar.6tth basic course. Would like to learn more about the process, and future course timing. No set goal to work as a sommelier, but after eating at Vetri the other night, I decided it might be a fun thing to do, something I’d enjoy focusing on, to take my hobby level up a few notches. Would like more specific information if it’s available.

Thx for the response, but need DATES! I can’t plan ahead if there is not schedule to work with! I understand the timing, but need specifics. Without that information, I’ll be forced to utilize another school.

Sommelier Course Schedule

Mitch,

Thank you for the question. Really awesome that you were inspired by eating at Vetri. We’ve been lucky to have a great relationship with Vetri and his staff for a very long time.

Our schedule for wine courses goes on a quarterly basis: our semesters follow the seasons much like a university would. The upcoming winter semester is beginning at the end of January. The following semester will be the Spring Semester, which will begin in April. The summer semester will be in the middle of August, and the Fall semester will begin in late September.

The Core program (which is the wine course you would start with) is scheduled for Sundays, and the Advanced program is on Mondays. Each class is 2 hours a week, and the semesters go for 8 weeks. The summer semester is a bit different, though. It is an accelerated program that goes for 6 days consecutively.
