I’m interested in attending sommelier classes.

Which is the most complete and longest wine course?

Which is the difference between Wine Foundation Course (Spring Semester) and
Core Wine Course (Spring Semester)?

Thank you very much.

Hi Carolina,

Thank you for your interest in our programs.

The most extensive course of study we offer is our Diploma Program. To earn the Diploma, students must complete the Foundation and Intermediate course, followed by four Advanced courses and a Thesis.

Everyone begins at the Foundation level, no matter your prior experience in wine. This is an eight week course that meets each week for two hours. The class is a combination of lecture and tasting that focuses on understanding your own palate and how to blind taste.

The Core program is where students combine the Foundation and Intermediate level in the same semester. While this is an intensive course of study, there is a price savings when the two are taken together. Following the Core program students are ready to move into the Advanced courses.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Hi Philip,

Thank you for your answer.

What you have told me, it’s convenient to assist the Core Wine Course (Spring Semester)
April 3 from 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm.?

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, so I know a little bit about wines.

Thank you!!

  • Carolina,Not sure what you mean by “assist” is that a typo?
