class/tasting suggestion

Good morning!
I was looking at getting tickets for my boyfriend and I for an early winter class (mid-January or early-February). Both of us like to drink wine (a lot), and are interested in it in general, but we don’t have any aspirations further than that — we’re not looking to be collectors, aspiring somms, ect.
Can you suggest a tasting class that would be a good fit for someone like us?
Thanks so much!

Hi!

Thanks so much for reaching out to us. It sounds like you’d enjoy our classes here at the Wine School, since our favorite thing is to share our passion with folks such as yourself!

Most of our two-hour classes are filled with novices who don’t have career aspirations, but would like to know more about a favorite hobby. We always recommend the Wine 101 class as a great place to start. This is a survey of the eight major grape varietals from wine regions throughout the world. There is a class with availability on February 11, 2016.

Another option is to try one of our food and wine classes. These classes focus on food and wine pairing principles, with recipes based on our Founder’s popular cookbook: “Corked & Forked”. The Cooking & Wine Pairing class is an actual cooking demo by Keith himself. All of the food is based on a seasonal menu. We can accommodate food preferences with advance notice.

I hope that is a good start! Please let me know if I can provide any more detail on our offerings.

Cheers
