Classes Taken/Future

Hi Guys! It’s been quite a while! I’ve been traveling and working hard and finally getting myself settled into things. When I signed on, it’s not saying that all my certificates are there and that some of my classes are not finished, when I know they are- I got my diploma for them; just wondering if thats an issue on here. I’ll have to check my Credly again, too.

On top of that, I am finally ready to start on my Master Thesis, but has something changed in the curriculum? I’m interested in joining the new program you have for the Master in Wine Society and see that it will cover tuition costs for the Master Thesis. Could you let me know some more info on that?

Lastly, I was also wondering if we could work something out for the Wine Educator or Winemaking Certifications? Let me know your thoughts, Keith.

I look forward to speaking to you, Wine God.

Keith,
Not an issue with the response time; I know you’re busy! Thanks for taking the time!

As for the classes that are not shown as being finished, they are the following: Intermediate and Adv. Italy. They’re both on my Credly, though, and I have made sure to get all my diplomas. I believe the last two made it at home in PA, as I have been away for the better part of two years now, but would I be able to pay for extra copies if needed?.. It also shows me having Old World Somm done, which I know I finished all of them, but that is not on my Credly.

I have never received an Advanced Sommelier pin; if I remember correctly, we were supposed to- unless it just jumped up to the Master’s.

On top of all this, I would love to audit classes, but I am still not home! I’m currently checking out the AZ industry, which is pleasantly surprising! I’d love to send some stuff for you to try! With that being said, I will not be able to be in classes, but since I was told before the curriculum changed that I would be grandfathered in, does that mean I will still need to sign up and get the materials online or just do my thesis and planned?

Also, would that be the same for the educator/ winemaker cert?Still apply online if I want to take them and do them here again?

Cheers!
Jess

  • also- just kidding; I have my L3 Pin, was there another for 4 before I do my Masters?

Great to have you back in Philly! Sorry it took a bit to respond, but it’s crush. You know how crazy that gets.

Not an issue. We will need to review, so send me a list of programs you completed, so I can compare it against our internal records.

I am finally ready to start on my Master Thesis

For this year, you would need to sign up for the program, which begins on Wednesday the 13th.

Lastly, I was also wondering if we could work something out for the Wine Educator or Winemaking Certifications?

As you don’t’ need the credit, you could audit them.
