Hello,
I purchased 4 tickets for the class on March 4th. I went to confirm this and found that 2 of the tickets seem to be listed for May 13th. I would never have purchased 2 tickets for May 13th. Seems like there may have been a glitch of some sort when purchasing occurred. Can you please assist. All 4 tickets were given as a gift and meant for the March 4th class.

I purchased 4 tickets for the Sommelier Secrets class on March 4th. However, in reviewing the tickets for the upcoming class, two of them have a May 13th date. I did not purchase tickets for May 13th. I purchased 4 tickets for March 4th.

Please reassign the two tickets referenced below to March 4th ASAP. I did not purchase the tickets for May 13th, nor am I able to attend on that date. Please fix as soon as possible so that all 4 of us can attend on March 4th as planned.

Tickets:
Security Code – 7797110d48
Security Code – 9498299ffd

Amanda,

My apologies for not getting back to you sooner today. I saw that you posted numerous questions, and hoped to consolidate them into one clear post to address all your concerns in the most efficient way possible.

I see that the first order you placed was on December 6th for two seats to a Sommelier Secrets class in March. Two weeks later, on December 21st, you purchased another two seats to a Sommelier Secrets class in May.

You posted two days ago, and said that was a glitch. My staffer Philip placed a trouble ticket with our tech team. They researched whether there were any system errors on the dates you purchased tickets. As he shared with you, there were no computing errors. I also went ahead and polled our secondary analytics software, which is off-site on Google’s servers, and that also showed zero possible errors or conflicts that would contribute to what your described.

The most likely scenario is that, when you went onto our site two weeks later, you purchased seats to what you believed was the March class, but was in fact the May class. These things happen and it’s a completely understandable mistake. Here are the links to the two classes:

https://www.vinology.com/class/the-sommelier-secrets/

We always go the extra mile to help our our students. This would have been very easy to remedy if you had contacted us in December or January. However, the class is this Saturday, and it is completely sold out.

It is disappointing to not be able to help a customer, especially when the classes were purchased as a gift. The upside is that anyone can transfer (or sell) their seats to someone else without our OK if they cannot attend a class, even without purchasing ticket insurance.

Thank you in advance for your understanding. I don’t want you to feel embarrassed by making an error; You are still welcome to attend Saturday’s class, and I’ve gone ahead and put you on the waitlist for two more seats.

Cheers,

Keith

Hi Amanda,

I looked up your orders and also checked with our tech team. They did not find any technical issues with the website on either of the dates you purchased tickets. In any event, If you have ticket insurance, then you can always reschedule those seats that you don’t want.

Here is that link: https://www.vinology.com/help/reschedule/

Cheers
