Class Overlap and Beginner Recommendation

I am interested in booking 2-3 classes as part of a birthday gift. I love wine but consider myself a relative novice. I am curious if there is overlap between the “Learn About Wine” classes. For example, would it make sense to sign up for “World Atlas of Wine”, “Wine 101” and “Great Wine Made Simple”, or are these too similar? Also, if I were to sign up for just one of these, which would you recommend as the best entry point?

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your interest in our classes. They make a great gift for novices and more experienced wine drinkers alike.

We would recommend choosing 1-2 classes among those in the beginner series, with Wine 101 being the most essential. This is a distillation of our 8 week Foundation program that we use to train aspiring wine professionals. Other good choices for a gift include any of the food and wine pairing courses, or the “Versus” series where we pick two top wine regions and put them against each other for the class to decide the “winner”.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you!

Cheers
