Class Certificate or Money Back

Hi Philip,

You had sent me a message that you had gotten someone to take my place in the class, but I never received the certificate or payment for the class. Can you please advise on how or when I will relieve that. Also looking at your classes… everything seems to be sold-out through the next two months.. will you be adding more classes?

Thanks,

Nick Lisotto

Hi Kieth,

I’m not sure why I am greeted with such hostility with your response. I did send a message to Philip thanking him, as did I request that I either be refunded or given a certificate for for the class and that Mike (the gentleman whom emailed me about the tickets was told the same thing) would see him at the class. Obviously, I have yet to receive either. I have posted my number several times, and the customer service aspect of your business is extremely frustrating. Your company states it switched to this business model to keep admin staff from dealing with telemarketing and cold calls, but this is a complete lack of customer service. Now, how would I go about receiving my refund for the class?

Thanks,

Nick

  • Nick,There is no hostility on this side. Our customer support team went out of their way to help you, despite the fact that you didn’t pay for ticket insurance. Philip was very clear in what he was doing for you: He found someone to buy the ticket from you. He put you and Mike in contact for the express purpose of you selling him your ticket. If you didn’t collect your money from Mike, I suggest reaching out to him.

Nick,

I’m not sure why you are asking for a refund or credit. We just hooked you up in a big way.

You did not purchase ticket insurance for your seats. Without that, you can’t reschedule a class. That goes for everyone. Tickets are never refundable, either.

When you originally emailed requesting to reschedule, we recognized that you were in the trade: the ‎Executive Chef at Racquet Club of Philadelphia.

A staff member at the Wine School –the awesome Philip Brandeis– located someone would buy your tickets off you. He put you in contact with each other, and let the two of you work out details.

The gent you sold the tickets to came to the class, and affirmed that you two made a financial deal for the tickets.

Please let me know why you are now asking for additional funds from us. Also, it would be nice if you thanked Philip for doing something really awesome for you. He didn’t have to do it (you were not owed a reschedule or refund) but simply because you were a chef he admires.
