Good morning,

My name is Tirusha Dave and I am the Editor in Chief of Bravura Magazine, a digital fashion & lifestyle publication based in NJ/NYC. Established nearly 10 years ago, Bravura Magazine seeks to bring forth high-fashion, travel, culinary, and other engaging & lively topics to our readers.

Since our inception, we have had the opportunity to cover some of the biggest events in the Entertainment & Fashion industry from The Oscars to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and more!

We have our publication’s COVER photoshoot in Philadelphia, this November, with Betty Cantrell, Miss America 2016 (part of the Miss America Organization). We were interested in seeing of Pinot Boutique would be interested in being a sponsor for this photoshoot.

I would love to send you our small sponsor packet; I feel that it would be a great way to advertise your business to readers in the tri-state area!

I thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best wishes,

Tirusha

Tirusha,

Who knows, Dan over at Pinot Boutique may be interested in spending money for some advertorial love. I can’t speak for him.

As you should be aware, the Wine School doesn’t advertise, except for a few dollars on Google now and again, largely because many businesses target our brand to advertise their wine related products. Some even pretend to be affiliated with us.

No advertising has been my stance since the school was founded in 2001. I have believed that if you offer something unique and awesome, there is no reason to spend money promoting it.

And I can charge much less for classes without having to spend tens of thousands on an advertising budget. For instance, we charge $75 for a class that another culinary school charges $250 for. That means our classes are more diverse and dynamic.

People who get what we do here are the kind of people I love being around: smart and creative people who can make up their own minds without a big flashy ad in a glossy magazine telling them what is cool.

There are plenty of folks like that in Philly, and they have kept us in business for over 15 years. I am a lucky soul.

Don’t get me wrong. I love print media, and I want you to be able to hire the best and brightest. And to to do that you need advertising revenue. A lot of it. I get it. Before I was in wine, I was a journalist. And I think you should seek out retail companies like Pinot Boutique to partner with. Good luck.
