When you hire the Wine School, you are hiring the top echelon of industry insiders and academics. Our corporate and trade services are handled personally by the school’s directors: Keith Wallace (Founder) and Alana Zerbe (Director of Wine Education).


Our consulting and education services are designed for small to mid-sized companies and institutions. Our current work includes the development of university curriculum, brand development for boutique wineries, viticultural consulting, and retail design for wine stores and tasting rooms.


We do offer high-level private wine tastings as well. These include TED-style talks and private classes for executives.

Consulting by Phone

For all short-term consulting projects, we now use Clarity.fm as our platform of choice.  For marketing companies, we can consult on brand development and marketing strategies. For wineries, we offer winemaking consulting on both a short and long-term basis. For retailers, we can assist with issues of store management, inventory control, and staff training. For universities and wine schools, we offer consulting services on accreditation, course development, and teacher training.

We can also answer any wine-related questions you may have. This option is open to anyone.

Wine Events

If you have a group of eight or more, you can register for a wine event here: private wine events  A classroom at the school can hold up to 20 people for an event. For larger wine events, we can hold an offsite event. We have run events for up to 1,200 people, for the Food Network. We have also run intimate wine events for groups as small as 8 people.

Public classes can be attended by groups of four or less. We do not allow large parties to attend our public classes. Our clients have included members of the Philadelphia Flyers, a Hollywood director, and executives of the Food Network.

We have developed event programming for the law firms Morgan Lewis Pepper Hamilton,  Drinker Biddle, and Blank Rome. Our events have been hosted by both UPenn and Drexel. We have built custom events for both Ikea America and the Philadelphia Zoo.

The Wine School created the perfect Ikea event: creatively exciting and accessible to everyone.
