If you check out this post on the Wine School’s website (www.vinology.com), take a look at the top left corner of the page. There is a little green lock. We just went CIA-level secure this week.
We always had great security on our check-out pages. Our security on those pages is better than most banks: and now we have added that level of security to every page, all the time. Is that overkill? It sure is. You really don’t need to read wine reviews on an encrypted connection. But I value privacy, both yours and mine.
The move to a full SSL system took a few days. Most people wouldn’t notice any interruption. Some students in our online wine courses may have noticed some PDF files were not showing up as expected. Those bugs have been squashed, and all systems are running perfectly now.
