An event every day that begins at 7:30pm, happening 6 times
This is an accelerated summertime program. Classes run daily from August 20th to August 25th, from 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm.
To be an International Wine Scholar, one must intimately know the great wine regions and countries, especially the ones off the beaten path. This program covers the wines, the people, and the places that create world-class wines, but don’t have the same name-brand recognition as Napa Valley, Burgundy, and Barolo.
In this program, you will be exposed to far-flung places that create great wine like Kakheti (Georgia), Brda (Slovenia), Okanagan (Canada), Franschhoek (South Africa), Tenerife (Canary Islands) and many more. If seeking out the beautiful, the exemplary, and the exotic will feed your wine passion, then this program is for you.
This qualification is available to all students who opt for certification via the National Wine School.
