Advanced Beer Program
There is a $150 supply fee for this program. This program can be taken alone or as part of the Advanced Sommelier & Fermenations Program. Learn how to brew from a master brewer.
Introduction to Beer Brewing
October 9th & November 6th from 2-6pm
This section is a hands-on introduction to brewing. At the end of this section, the student will understand essential brewing techniques, the basics of fermentation, and the effects of hops. The focus of this section is to brew a great-tasting beer.
January 8th & February 5th from 2-6pm
This section expands the brewer’s knowledge into the art of all-grain brewing. At the end of this section, the brewer will know the basics of brewing chemistry and lab analysis. This is the essential brewing program to brew high-quality beer. This class includes a guided brewing of a classic all-grain beer.
Advanced Brewing Techniques
May 21st, May 28th, and June 4th, from 2-4pm
In this section, we take the practical knowledge learned in the previous two programs and take it to the next level. The final project for this program will be the third and final beer. This section is designed to give you the skills necessary to take your brewing out of the classroom and into the brewery.
