As one of my Advanced Sommelier students, you are part of the inner circle here, and what you think matters to me a great deal.

You may already know that we are currently involved in a lawsuit over our trademark, Philly Wine School. While the case is formally presented that way, in practice it has become an attack on our reputation and credibility, and an effort to damage the trust we have built over more than twenty years.

Because the case is ongoing, I cannot say more in writing. But I am happy to speak with you one-on-one if you have any questions or concerns about the litigation’s potential impact on your studies. I have had the chance to connect with some of you after class recently, and those candid conversations have been meaningful and helpful.

The main thing I want to make clear is simple: this does not affect you personally, and it does not affect the validity of your credentials. We are moving forward, confident in our legal team, and fully committed to your education and to the future of this program.
