A Week in Tuscany
with the Wine School

This Trip is SOLD OUT!

Date of Trip: June 2nd to the 9th 2007

The Villa is located on a hillside in Castelnuovo Berardenga. This 11 room residence is comfortably furnished in a classic Tuscan style, with a few antique pieces. On the ground floor is the living area with Satellite TV (not sure who is going to want this..) a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and a laundry room.

The villa has several exceptional features. First, there is a very large & stylish swimming pool. Second, the second floor has a semi-enclosed loggiato suitable for al aperto dining or just hanging out with the wine school crew. There are additional for outdoor dining, as well.

There are eight bedrooms available, all of which have private bathrooms. Six rooms with queen-sized beds are available, and are located on the second floor of the villa. Two rooms with twin beds are located on the first floor.

The neighborhood. This is a perfect slice of rural Tuscany. A five minute walk takes you to the walled hamlet of Montebenichi where you'll find an osteria nestled under 12th century battlements. Ten minute by car brings you to Ambra, San Vincento, or San Gusme to shop for local artisinal cheeses and meats (and wine, of course).. and to restaurants, enotecas and cafes.

The Region. Proximity to Italy's main highway, the A1 Milan-Rome, whisks you to Florence in less than an hours. Historic sites such as Arezzo and Cortona are less than an hour away. So, too are Montalcino and Montepulchiano, and their amazing wines. Siena, the cultural soul of the region, is a mere twenty miles from our doorstep!

The vineyards. Being at the doorstep of a classic wine region means there is plenty of wineries to visit: from elegant Quattro cento villas to family farms and historic estates. Typically, Keith takes a crew on at least one impromptu daylong "wine adventure," and the results are always amazing.

What is included. The price includes the property, linen service, and light cleaning. The Wine School will also organize several excursions through the week as well. Airfare is not included.

Sorry these offerings from the Wine School have sold out! Please contact us at info@vinology.com if you have any questions.
