The Hophead Class
The most beloved ingredient in beer is also the least well known... up until now.
"This is going to be a righteous class. We are going to talk about the excessive use of hop today. We'll do the West Coast vs. East Coast thing, and show the introduction of hops into styles they weren't traditionally used in, like the super hoppy Trippel Exit 4," explains our Beer Lad Collin Flatt.
"It's not just about tasting some of these crazy hopped up beers," says our Dean of Beer, Mr. Browne himself, "although that's going happen. We will be highlighting the differences between American and British hops as well as wet vs. dry hopping. After this class, you'll be able to impress your friends by identifying the Cascade versus the Centennial hop."
