Food & Wine Pairing Classes

Imagine two of the city's top wine professionals competing to create the perfect food & wine pairing... and all for you! We pit one of Philadelphia's top sommeliers against one of our top wine educators. Those attending try each of the food & wine pairings, and get to choose the winner.

L'Oca Bistro and the Wine School have joined together to offer you this splendid food and wine event. Every month, we are exploring the wines and cuisines of Italy, right here in Fairmount.

This month we are featuring the cuisine of Northern Italy.

Before dinner, you will enjoy a wine class hosted at the Wine School. You will learn about the food & wine of the region, plus enjoy a tasting of the region's wines

In this four course meal, you will savor classic examples of this cuisine.  Guests are encouraged to bring a bottle of wine with them for dinner.

Both the four course dinner and the wine tasting class are only $54.99 a person!

Please bring $10 in cash to cover tax & tip. Gift certificates are not valid for this event.

There is nothing better than wine and cheese. Tonight we will be pairing wines with a selection of fine cheeses, including two of our favorites: Maytag blue cheese and Cabot's "Private Stock" cheddar.
