Beer and Cheese Pairing

Cooking Class with Wine Pairings

A cooking class like no other.  In this class, our top chef teams up with one of our top sommeliers. Together they craft a seasonal and satisfying menu for the night, with a focus on farm-to-table ingredients.

The class includes a cooking demonstration of each dish, along with a full description of the wine pairings by our sommelier-instructor.  You then taste the results for yourself.

The Wine School’s signature event! Imagine two of the city’s top wine professionals competing to create the perfect food & wine pairing…and all for you! We pit one of Philadelphia’s top sommeliers against one of our wine educators. Attendees sample each of food & wine pairings, then choose the winner. Past participants have included the top sommeliers on the East Coast, plus winemakers, celebrities, and authors. You never know who may show up at the Smackdown, but you can bank on an exceptional food and wine experience.
