Brian Freedman
From 2006-2010, Brian Freedman was a Sommelier-Instructor at the Wine School of Philadelphia.
Brian first step foot into the Wine School to write a feature on the Wine School's founder and director, Keith Wallace. The piece was was published in the Mainline Times, and Brian and Keith became quick friends; within a month, Brian was teaching wine classes at the school.
Brian was a great writer ( his first published piece was in the Wine Spectator Magazine), but his inteligence and charm really shone in the classroom. His four year tenure at the Wine School was remarkable, and in recognition of his accomplishments, Brian Freedman was given the honorary title of Director of Wine Education in 2008.
In May 2010, Brian Freedman resigned from the Wine School to pursue writing full time. As a friend and collegue, he will be missed. He is currently the blogger for Wine Chateau and the restaurant critic for Philadelphia Weekly.
"Partnering with the Wine School is one of the best decisions we have made."
